Getting started
How the directory works
Four simple stages, with an administrator checking each one so the community can use the directory with confidence.
1. Register your account
Give your name, email address, a short description of your connection to Classical Conversations East London, and the name of a family or community member who can verify you. You will confirm your email address, and your account then sits in a pending state.
2. An administrator verifies you
Nobody can browse member profiles until an administrator has approved their account. This keeps personal details inside the community.
3. Submit your profile
Once approved, you can fill in your profile step by step and save a draft at any point. Tell us what you do, how you can help, and the sort of people or organisations you would like to be introduced to. You choose which contact details are published.
4. Approval, then connect and refer
An administrator reviews your profile and either approves it, asks for changes, or explains why it cannot be published. Once approved it appears in the directory. If you later edit important public information, the change goes back for review while your published profile stays visible.
Keeping profiles fresh
Every twelve months you will be asked to confirm that your details are still correct. Profiles that are not confirmed are marked for review, and the administrator may archive them.
